Invest in a just a fraction of the cost of tuition to keep students in war-torn eastern Congo enrolled!
With tuition averaging $1,000/year, many UEA students are approaching the end of the academic year still owing only a few hundred dollars; others lack less than $100.
Last year, you and friends like you from around the world donated to cover tuition shortfalls at UEA. Thanks to your generosity, 40 students graduated or completed a successful academic year, allowing them to continue their studies.
We are again asking you to help us raise $20,000 by the end of the year to ensure that another 40+ students stay on track to become much needed future doctors, lawyers, economists, agriculture/environmental professionals…
With your assistance, 40 more of the brightest and most determined young adults will be able to graduate and contribute to building a stronger Congo.

$20,000 goal reached!
In the week after Christmas 2024 we launched a campaign to raise $20,000 to help 60 UEA students finish paying their tuition for the term.
On January 25th, ​we were still $3,100 short of our goal when a generous donor came forward to fill the gap. She did this in memory of her daughter.
Now, all 60 students are covered! Thank you, thank you, thank you all!

Tuition supplemented for students at Université Evangélique en Afrique (UEA)—in the challenging environment of Eastern Congo
Every year at UEA many students who finish their final projects and have studied diligently are blocked from continuing their studies simply because they cannot pay the remaining balance on tuition due at the end of the year.
Relatively small tuition shortfalls per student
Last year students lacked as little as $300.
